Protégé: Battle for the Big Break is on its final streak this week, with the finale night set December 18.

This is the final battle for our Pop Sweetheart Lirah, whose raw singing talent has been polished by no less than her mentor Janno Gibbs. Lirah is now the shining shimmering star of GMA Protege.

We also acknowledge the efforts of the GMA Protégé people and all those who are involved in honing Pop Sweetheart Lirah to becoming the star singer/performer that she is now.

A BATTLE OF TALENTS

The GMA Protégé The Final Battle is so far the toughest stage of the Protege contest that Lirah will go through. There will be three rounds slated in the Protégé season’s finale.

Whatever the Protégé The Final Battle dynamics would be, let us be reminded that Protégé is a Battle for the Big Break.

The Protege is is not a battle of sad stories. It is a battle for real deal singing and performing talent. Lirah is out to show her best to win the big break despite the sad events that surrounded her at the start of Protege: Battle for the Big Break.

LIRAH’S SAD STORY IS A SURE WINNER

The Filipino people won’t hesitate showing sympathy to the underdog. It cannot be denied that Protege contestants are in a way gaining sympathy votes through their sad stories.

If GMA Protégé would go down to be a battle of sad stories, then who can beat the sad story of Lirah Bermudez?

On her way to the final audition stage, Toto, her younger brother passed away. Her family struggled financially as they went about seeking remedy for the ailment of Lirah’s little brother.?

DON’T GIVE UP ON US POP SWEETHEART LIRAH

In 2008, Lirah’s younger brother, Toto did an intermission number during a University Day contest at Central Philippine University. The event was held at Rose Memorial Auditorium where around 3,000 students, parents, faculty and staff watched.

Toto sang David Soul’s “Don’t Give Up On Us”. While the song speaks about a Romantic relationship, let us allow ourselves to interpret Toto’s singing as his encouragement to Pop Sweetheart Lirah…DON’T GIVE UP!

Lirah Bermudez – Bright Shining Star of GMA Protege

Central Philippine University Blog
There’s no doubt that Lirah Bermudez has remained the bright shining star of GMA Protege: The Battle for the Big Break.

The battle for the big break has intensified as the final five GMA protege contestants were finally chosen.

The weekly polls prove it and the judges have seen how she has improved since the first Protege Gala night.

Watch how Lirah and Janno captivated the judges and audience through their splendid performance of “Hallelujah” (Bamboo) / “Nosi ba Lasi” (Sampaguita)”…

Lirah remains formidable

They said that Lirah and mentor Janno suffered a setback when their November 20 performance was rated at Bottom 2. However, the fact that she outdid Lovely Embuscado proves that Lirah Bermudez is still a very strong contender whether she’s on top or at the bottom.

Avoiding getting eliminated on November 20 showed that Lirah remains formidable. Her supporters the Protégé LIRAH LINN BERMUDEZ FANS CLUB and other Lirah Bermudez fans are always on all out support for her.

Taming the Protege wild cards

Well, the best way for Lirah to tame the Protege wild cards is to do her best and outdo everyone, even herself. And she did!
